When you stand on the cliff top of Ahu Ahu Villa’s you can understand why Sophie and Mitchell were happy to keep it simple, sweet and all about them. Flowers were important to Sophie, however they were well thought out and selected for specific areas of the wedding party.

A modern chic wedding at Sanctury Hill Yoga Retreat for the ceremony and at the modern venue of the New Plymouth Golf Club overlooking the Fitzroy and New Plymouth coastline. Throw in their bridal shots amongst the cityscape of the town, this uber cool and unique day will not doubt inspire many to think outside the typical box of wedding venues in Taranaki and start dreaming up possibilities for an inner city wedding.

When you think of winter weddings you don't usually picture stunningly clear blue skies, no wind and the warm subtle sunshine glistening on the glassy ocean. But that’s exactly what Sam and Ashlin’s day was graced with.

They married at The Bungalow, in coastal New Plymouth, Taranaki. A unique day, as they chose to have their ceremony in the morning, followed by coffee from a coffee van and canape’s at the venue. The reception was then held at the stunning Ahu Ahu Beach Villa’s as an mid-afternoon celebration.

Modern yet classic, with a natural, textural twist, was the theme for Katie and Sam’s autumn wedding at The Bungalow.

With the venue overlooking the Taranaki coastline, the natural grasses, paired with puffs of white blooms, delicate garden flowers, and pops of lemony yellows, created the dreamiest scene.

The wind was blowing hard, but everything was perfect, making for the most magical day, which, I hear, ended in the most epic party. Exactly what a wedding day should be all about!

Pax and Teddy’s colourful garden party wedding, was filled with non stop laughter, continuous applausing and contagious smiles.

Many of the guests, had traveled from all parts of the globe to celebrate their day at Goodin Country Garden in New Plymouth. The ceremony space was nestled in the intimate lawn area of the gardens, filled with flowers and the party continued into the evening on the lawn in the front of the beautiful iconic Goodin house.
